ShenFM places their music on a beach at sunset. An eclectic mix of beats, uptempo yet still peaceful, dance-able but not overpowering. Fusing pop, acoustic rock, house and African music, ShenFM creates a blend of uplifting rhythms only leaving you feeling good. They have played in America, France, Ireland, Dubai, Sweden, Zimbabwe, Angola, Malawi, Senegal, Rio, Argentina and of course their home, South Africa. They’ve played with Jeff Bridges in Cape Town, Vusi Mahlasela in Sweden for Her Majesty Queen Silvia, played and opened for Lionel Richie in Dubai, Zakes Bantwini, GoldFish, Lock 'n Ville, Freshly Ground, Watershed among many others... A blend of instruments played live, whilst simultaneously mixing loops and samples together in a DJ style. This set can be just Shen solo on vocals with live guitar and keys, whilst mixing the tracks together using his DJ controller. Additional band members are added such as live percussion, Horns, Keys, Bass…
