About

Shady Business is a premier temporary architecture and shade canopy firm specializing in grand-scale, visually breathtaking stretch and tensile structures. Moving far beyond traditional tenting, we blend geometric art, physics, and psychedelic color theory to engineer massive overhead installations that protect guests while completely transforming the event landscape. From sprawling outdoor music festivals and high-concept corporate brand activations to major sporting events, our custom-patterned shade sails provide necessary sun protection by day and double as immersive light environments by night. When a brand needs to dominate an outdoor space and be seen from miles away, Shady Business delivers the ultimate structural statement.
