About

Major Voices is a male choir established in 2012 in the township of Khayelitsha, Cape Town. We are mostly known for performing Isicathamiya, a blend of traditional a cappella and dance, turning each performance into a vibrant cultural experience. Through our voices, we found a purpose: to uplift our community and guide youth away from crime by sharing the power of music and art. Rooted in brotherhood and resilience, we now sing and dance to inspire and bring people together at any kind of event — creating change and celebrating South African culture through powerful live experiences. We inspire and entertain kids, locals and travellers and perform at any kind of events (weddings, anniversaries, dinners, graduations, funeral services etc.). We are extremely flexible and can work according to your needs and budget.
