About
KaribaRimba is a vibrant collaboration of musical voices, blending the rich traditions of African and Western music. The ensemble brings together African marimbas/drums with horns to create a sound that is both celebratory uniquely South African. The result is rhythmically alive and uplifting,— energetic enough to captivate, yet warm and accessible in atmosphere. Band sizes range from 3 to 8 performers.
