ABBEY ARTICO - Saxophonist ABOUT ABBEY “Professional and Passionate” Abbey Artico is a well-known Johannesburg saxophonist with over 30 years of performance experience; a highly impressive CV; a reputation as a professional and dedicated musician, and a master of her instrument. Abbey has performed in more than 20 musical theatre productions; toured with and performed with illustrious performers; been the featured soloist in orchestras; performed with dozens of jazz, rock and pop bands; and played for countless corporate events and functions Abbey is known for her sunny disposition, both on and off stage, and is professional and passionate. She has a “client always comes first” attitude and is always dedicated to making each and every performance her best. ABOUT THE MUSIC “Creating an ambiance that complements and enhances the environment without being intrusive” Abbey provides live sophisticated saxophone music that creates a positive, vibrant ambiance without being intrusive or loud. Her repertoire is unusual and interesting as she incorporates songs and styles of music that are not often covered by other saxophonists or solo musicians.
